Anyone who knows me well, know you can often find me strolling the banks of the Pee Dee river. There is a certain solace there that I cannot find anywhere else. I went today and spend a few moments, in the cold dampness and looked at the river. The river looked back at me, in only the way it can. The slow flow towards the coast, soothed me. It reset the inner clock of my body. Slowing down the hands that have gone askew and setting the regulator. There is a quality on the river on a misty, cold day.
